Anniversary sessions are easily becoming one of my favorite types of portrait sessions to capture! I think that they are so important because the fun shouldnt stop once you get married when it comes to photographs. Every couple should take time at least once a year to get back in front of the camera to just simply see how much you have grown, changed, and to take the time to reflect on all that you have accomplished in just 365 days.
Katlyn + Matthew, fellow Bluffton residents, have happily been married for one year and I was so smitten with the idea of doing their session over in Palmetto Bluff when we were discussing location choices! This gorgeous community has easily been at the top of my list of places to visit and photograph so I was eating up the scenery like it was going out of style.
I was lucky enough to have Jeramie work with me on the session so it was kinda like we were on a double date all night with just some simple picture taking in-between! We got to learn all about how these two cuties met, how they spent their one year anniversary taking a trip to Aruba, and how they came to live in Bluffton! We walked away that night with not only gorgeous portraits for Katlyn + Matthew, but with new friends as well. And that my friends is what I love most about this job--building relationships, connecting with others, and enjoying new friendships.
Enjoy some of my favorites as I plan my next trip out to Palmetto Bluff!
