Another day, another chance to out race these summer storms that have been popping up every day as of late but the other day I was lucky to have spent the evening with Erin + Francis in the magical city that they get to call home, Charleston! Thanks to these two for strolling the streets with me to find the best alleyways to shoot in and for dodging strangers at every turn! Cannot wait for their November 2019 wedding already!
Morning engagement sessions are my jam and when you add in a gorgeous, iconic location like Charleston to the mix, you might as well place me on cloud 9!
Richard proposed to Rebekah at the Pineapple Fountain located on WaterFront Park so when we were discussing possible locations for their engagement session, I couldn't think of a more fitting place to start their session!
We were greeted with the most amazing sunrise (think yellow, orange, and pink skies with an orange tinted sun!) and after spending some time near the water, we quickly moved to Rainbow Row to grab some portraits. Since we were shooting so early in the morning, the crowds were nonexistent which allowed us to explore the streets that much more and find the cutest of nooks to shoot in.
After we finished up downtown, we moved over to Hampton Park which is a gorgeous, intimate park that housed the most amazing spanish moss trees and allowed for us to slow down a bit since again we pretty much had the place to ourselves!
Richard + Rebekah were amazing to work with and made me feel so welcomed from the start. I cannot wait for their May 2017 wedding already!
